LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) –

  • Gasoline stocks in independently held storage at the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub fell nearly 8 pct in the week to Thursday to just under 1 mln tonnes, according to data from Dutch consultancy PJK International.
  • Stocks fell as exports of the motor fuel and blending components rose on the transatlantic route and to Asia Pacific, PJK’s Lars van Wageningen said.
  • Gasoil stocks fell by nearly 7 pct as imports into the region slowed while demand remained on the low side, van Wageningen said.
  • Fuel oil stocks fell by over 7 pct on growing demand to export to the Middle East ahead of the summer season which sees peak power generation demand there.
