ARA gasoline stocks down 8 pct- PJK – Reuters News
LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) –
Gasoline stocks in independently held storage at the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub fell nearly 8 pct in the week to Thursday to just under 1 mln tonnes, according to data from Dutch consultancy PJK International.
Stocks fell as exports of the motor fuel and blending components rose on the transatlantic route and to Asia Pacific, PJK’s Lars van Wageningen said.
Gasoil stocks fell by nearly 7 pct as imports into the region slowed while demand remained on the low side, van Wageningen said.
Fuel oil stocks fell by over 7 pct on growing demand to export to the Middle East ahead of the summer season which sees peak power generation demand there.
