ARA gasoil stocks rise slightly – PJK – Reuters News
LONDON, May 31 (Reuters) –
Gasoil stocks in independently held storage at the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub rose slightly in the week to Thursday to around 2.1 million tonnes, according to data from Dutch consultancy PJK International.
Naphtha stocks increased by 17 percent mostly due to higher imports from Algeria, PJK’s Lars van Wageningen said.
Barge activity along the Rhine river remained significantly lower than in recent years. A strong backwardation in the gasoil market has kept buying activity in the ARA hub very low, he added.
