LONDON, July 3 (Reuters) – Gasoline stocks held at Europe’s Amsterdam-Antwerp-Rotterdam (ARA) storage hub jumped by 16.5 percent to 887,000 tonnes week-on-week, data from Dutch oil analyst Patrick Kulsen showed.
Gasoil inventories rose by 4.9 percent to 2.491 million tonnes compared to the prior week’s 2.374 million tonnes.
The build in gasoil stocks was due to contango in front month gasoil futures and greater imports from the Baltic states, Kulsen said.
Naththa and jet fuel stocks fell while fuel oil inventories rose.
