ARA gasoil stocks fall to four-month low – PJK – Reuters News

LONDON, April 26 (Reuters)

  • All product stocks in independently held storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub decreased in the past week except fuel oil, data from Dutch consultancy PJK International showed.
  • Gasoil stocks fell to their lowest since Dec. 21 due to fewer imports, more demand in Northwest Europe and steady demand from up the Rhine caused by ongoing refinery problems, said PJK’s Lars van Wageningen.
  • Fuel oil stocks, which hit a 17-week high last week, increased further due to stock building, but there were also some exports to Singapore.
  • Gasoline stocks fell on more exports this week on bigger vessels, including Panamaxes, as well as fewer imports compared with the previous week.
  • Naphtha saw steady imports but on smaller vessels, with no Aframaxes involved, against steady demand along the Rhine, said van Wageningen.
